Jason Weigold (Gig Harbor/Olympia)

Jason has 10+ years of experience in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. After being an employee for 3 years, Jason acquired ownership of Center for Therapeutic Intervention (CTI) in 2017 to continue his dream of making a difference in the lives of children and families in the PNW. Jason has experience working in a variety of treatment settings including, pediatric inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, NICU/PICU, as well as school and home-based settings. Jason’s areas of expertise and special interest are feeding therapy, sensory integration, trauma-informed care, foster and adoption care, behavior modification for social and emotional conditions, visual motor delays, cognition, balance, motor planning, fine motor delays, developmental delays and handwriting. Jason is passionate about making therapy fun and meaningful to the child. He strives to share his knowledge and skills with families so their children can function to their fullest potential. Jason grew up on the East Coast and enjoys spending time with his family. Jason received his degree in OT from LCCC in Pennsylvania, and truly enjoys helping each one of “his kids” at CTI.

Tori Mae Couture (Gig Harbor/Olympia)


Tori is a recent graduate who is beginning her career as an Occupational Therapist at CTI. She recently moved from Maine and is enjoying exploring the Pacific Northwest. Tori has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in New York. Tori is looking forward to working with children with Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, and Autism. She loves working in the pediatric setting and coaches middle school girls lacrosse. She is looking into continuing her education in the areas of feeding and trauma.

Ashley Thunell (Olympia)


Ashley is a full-time occupational therapist at our Olympia location. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, TX. In 2017, she began her career as an occupational therapist working in Texas with children with developmental delays and sensory processing difficulties. She left Texas and returned to Washington in 2018, where she gained experience working with older adults and medically complex patients in skilled nursing facilities. She enjoys working with children and is looking forward to continuing her education in the areas of trauma and sensory processing. In her free time, Ashley enjoys coffee, spending time outdoors and staying active.

Julie Kennedy (Gig Harbor)


Julie has been an employee at CTI for 3+ years, and also has experience working in inpatient rehab and public school based settings. She has training in Handwriting Without Tears, Alert Program, trauma-informed care, feeding therapy, yoga and mindfulness, and Dyslexia. She has current experience working with children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, and sensory and developmental delays. She is dedicated and loves working with others, and creating individualized skilled treatment sessions to help her clients reach their goals and needs. Julie has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington, and received her degree in OT from Green River Community College.

Amanda Diaz (Gig Harbor)


Amanda’s experience as an OT practitioner began with serving older adults in inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation, and children with special needs in the public school district. She has training in Handwriting Without Tears, and experience working with clients with autism, trauma, and sensory processing disorder. Her special interests are mindfulness and feeding therapy. Amanda strives to make each session creative, comfortable, and fun for each child. Amanda received her degree in OT from Bates Technical College in Tacoma Washington.

Emily Bryce (Gig Harbor)


Emily recently graduated with her Masters from Stanbridge University in Orange County, CA and moved to the PNW to work in the Bremerton School District. She continues her position there part time and is excited to join CTI part time to pursue her true love of sensory integration. She has experience and a love for working with kids on the Autism Spectrum, with Sensory Processing Disorder, anxiety, and ADHD. She is looking forward to learning more about feeding and working with kids with trauma. A passionate outdoor enthusiast, Emily loves to take OT outside and is trained in the Cedarsong Way forest kindergarten method. She is pursuing her certification in Ayres Sensory Integration and is an avid learner. Her Bachelors in Human Development and Anthropology from California State University Long Beach instilled an interest in the cultural component of a holistic treatment plan and she loves to explore the effect the environment has on children and families. She currently lives in Silverdale with her husband and three cats.

Alisha McDonald (Gig Harbor)


Alisha has been a certified occupational therapy assistant since 2014. She has worked in pediatrics her entire career, in both private clinics and a hospital setting. Alisha is passionate for helping kids and their families reach their full potential. Alisha has training in sensory integration, functional movement, and more. Her special interests include working with kids with learning disabilities, visual deficits, auditory processing difficulties, and sensory dysfunction. Outside of therapy, Alisha loves spending quality time with her family and dogs. She is also an avid sports fan.

Brittany Fox (Gig Harbor)



Brittany has been providing occupational therapy services since 2014. She has spent most of her professional time up to this point practicing in pediatrics, both in private practice and the school setting. This provides her with a unique bridge to school-based programs and insight into ways we can best coordinate services with providers in the academic setting. Brittany has attended continuing education focusing on sensory processing disorder and Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT). She has training in the use of Integrated Listening Systems (iLs), Handwriting Without Tears, and feeding therapy. She is familiar with self-regulation programs, such as The Zones of Regulation and The Alert program. Outside of therapy, Brittany loves to spend her time outdoors (rain or shine) and always enjoys the company of her friends, family and dog.

Alicia Lowery (Gig Harbor)


Since graduating in 2017, Alicia’s experience as an OT practitioner has been primarily focused in pediatrics. Her background extends from private clinics to a variety of school based settings including elementary, middle school, and a transitional program for special needs students. Further, she has had hands-on experience with feeding therapy, sensory integration, Handwriting Without Tears, and aquatic therapy. Currently she works full time with the Bremerton School District, and has been PRN with CTI since September 2019. Alicia has a special interest in the benefits of mindfulness, yoga, and music/art therapy. Her greatest dream is to one day publish and illustrate an occupational therapy based children’s book. Alicia is PNW born and raised, and has recently relocated from Seattle to downtown Tacoma. Outside of therapy, Alicia enjoys the energy of city life with her partner and their three cats.

Nicki Aden (Olympia)


Nicki has been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant since 2015 when she graduated from Green River College. She currently specializes in Pediatrics and Geriatrics. When she’s not working at CTI she works with the elderly in a skilled nursing facility. Before becoming a COTA Nicki obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the Evergreen State College and worked with preschool-aged children in the North Thurston School District. She enjoys working with people of all ages and needs. Nicki is committed to relationship building and providing fun, client-centered therapy to everyone she works with. In her free time she enjoys fostering animals and spending time with her two children.

Sally Carman (Gig Harbor)


Sally consults with adoptive and foster care families, working on issues pertaining to attachment and behavioral management.  Sally also works with children affected by sensory processing disorder.  She is frequently called upon to give community training to adoptive parents, schools, and other agencies who strive to meet the needs of children.  Sally has a Bachelor's Degree from Duke University and a Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania; she received her adoption certification through Northwest Resource Associates.

Arielle Langworthy (Gig Harbor)


Arielle is a PRN evaluating Occupational Therapist with CTI. She loves serving kids and families in her community, and has 3+ years of previous experience working in ABA with young children with autism, and another 6+ years of experience teaching and tutoring children of all ages and varying ability levels in school, home, and private learning center settings. Arielle has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound.

Erin Buzzard (Gig Harbor)


Erin is a PRN evaluating Occupational Therapist with CTI. Erin has vast experiences working with children in a variety of settings. She has been a pediatric occupational therapist since 2017 and has a passion for helping all children reach their highest potential. Erin has experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders of all levels, sensory processing difficulties, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation and ADHD. She has taken continuing education in practice areas including providing trauma-informed care, feeding therapy, mindfulness and yoga for emotional regulation. She is experienced in using the Zones of Regulation and Social Thinking curriculums for building emotional regulation and social skills. Erin has a Bachelor’s degree from Pacific Lutheran University and her Master’s degree in occupational therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego.

Stacy Ramona

Office Manager

Stacy oversees the third party reimbursement procedures and billing at CTI.  She has significant experience in financial and office management  in pediatric clinics, and finds pleasure in working with children and families.
